Ensim Control Panel is a software application

Site Administrators
The Ensim Site Administrator
control panel includes a comprehensive
statistical dashboard on the
status and usage of key site
resources.
The dashboard provides a statistical
overview of the following site
information:
- Site user
and backup information
- Webalizer
and Analog information
- Bandwidth
information
- MySQL database
information
- Status of
services enabled for the site
Earlier releases
of Ensim Control Panel displayed
the shortcuts section on the
Home page of the Site Administrator
control panel. Beginning with
Ensim Control Panel 4.0, the
site dashboard is displayed
on the home page. The shortcuts
section can now be accessed
using the Shortcuts link on
the Home page.
Ability
to switch between IP-based web
hosting plans and name-based
web hosting plans
Ensim
Hosting Control Panel enables
you to effortlessly switch between
IP-based sites and name-based
sites when you update the existing
site settings. When you convert
a name-based site to an IP-based
site, you can offer Secure Web
(SSL) service that enables the
Site Administrator to perform
secure Web operations. However,
when you convert an IP-based
site to a name-based site, the
Secure Web (SSL) service is
disabled preventing further
secure Web operations on the
site. If the site had used the
service before the update, you
must notify the Site Administrator
of the update.
Automatic
login capability for Ensim Site
Administrators to the Ensim
User Administrator control panel
Ensim Site Administrators can automatically log
on to the Ensim User Administrator
control panel and perform administrative
tasks on behalf of the user.
To return to the Ensim Site
Administrator control panel,
they must log out of the Ensim
User Administrator control panel
and log on again as the Ensim
Site Administrator.
Password
protection for CGI-BIN directories
Earlier versions of Ensim Control Panel enabled
Ensim Site Administrators to
protect all the sub-directories
and files placed in the directory
/var/www/html using the Ensim
Site Administrator control panel.
Ensim Hosting
Control Panel now enables Ensim
Site Administrators to extend
password-protection to all the
sub-directories and files placed
in the cgi-bin directory /var/www/
<cgi_bin_dir_name>, where
<cgi_bin_dir_name> is
the name of the cgi-bin directory.
Authenticated access ensures
that only users with access
privileges can access the scripts
in the cgi-bin directory. For
